Group Travel and Event Planners
Group Travel
While there are many similarities between planning a smaller, more traditional charter, you need to consider some additional
areas when planning for larger groups to travel.
- What do you consider group travel?: Unlike traditional charters that generally consist of groups up to 24 guests, we consider group travel to be any number
of guests greater than that.
- Where will everyone sleep?: For charters that will be en-route during the evening hours, sleeping space will be required
for your guests. We often partner with other car owners or operators to lease additional cars to fullfil your requirements. Depending on your requirements, you
may also choose to utilize additional sleeping space in the Amtrak train that our cars are connected to.
- Where will everyone dine?: Similar to the way that we would handle additional sleeping accommodations, the same can be done for dining by adding a dining car.
- Does the cost go up as the number of guests increases?: Yes. This is due to the additional equipment that is often required to accomodate larger groups. In some cases, depending
on the number of cars required, we may also be required to pay for an additional locomotive. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
