Charter

This information is provided to give private railcar travelers some guidance in helping us help you plan your charter. In most cases, you can travel to many of the locations served by Amtrak and VIA Rail Canada on private railcars. In order to begin planning your trip, you should consider the following:

• What are your departure and destination cities?
• What is your departure date?
• Do you desire intermediate layover points?
• How many people are in your charter group?
• How long would you like to stay at your destination?
• Do you plan to use the train as hotel space at your destination?
• Are there any guests that require special assistance boarding or detraining?
• Do any of your guests have food allergies or other special dietary concerns?

Once you have had an opportunity to consider your responses to the questions above, please submit a Charter Request to begin the planning process.
